    a) this is a hamster and
    b) it’s so cruel for someone to let it get so overweight and it will easily die of many weight related problems

Well apparently it hasn’t died yet, leave it alone. I think its cute!!!! I’m on my way to get one right now and fatten it up!!! Cute lil thing!!! Live ON CHUB CHUB!!!!

While I’d say this is the funniest photo I’ve found in a long time, and cute, it’s also kind of sad for the poor little baby. Doesn’t seem like she can even move in her state. While I enjoy giggling at this photo, I’m going to do everything in my power to see our mouse live a long skinny life, for his sake.

Thanks to whoever pointed out this is a dwarf hamster NOT a mouse!

Whoever said that they were going to get one and fatten it up, do you realise what you are doing and how harsh that is!!!!!!!! Its like a human weighing 50 stone!!!!! Don’t subject your hamster to that. I really hope you either didn’t get one or changed your mind on fattening it up. They are so cute without being fat and making them fat is so cruel!

,Dear whoever owns this oversized dwarf hamster
I think, whoever owns this hamster is making it suffer,I mean just look at this picture,he looks like he almost can’t see anything!I would be really suprised if he actually enjoys this!

Hi! I love dwarf hamsters! I have one myself….Although I think your hamster is cute, I just want to kindly advise that you be responsible in the way you take care of your pet. Dwarf hamsters are prone to diabetes, and overfeeding it would exacerbate this disease. Imagine watching your hamster suffer from diabetes. They constantly urinate and have to drink copious amounts of water and they start to lose a lot of weight. Also, hamsters are like goldfish in that they don’t know when to stop eating. If they see food, they will hoard as much as they can. So it really is up to you to determine how much your hamster eats. Please think wisely about how you care for your sweetie!

Please take note of what Anonymous has said. It is up to you to make sure that your beloved pet remains healthy, happy and free from disease. It is not funny!

I think its really cruel to let this poor harmless thing suffer! Even do it looked liked it loved food and all YOU SHOULD HAVE KEEPED A GOOD EYE ON THIS POOR HAMSTERS WEIGHT! It looks like its suffering!! I dont think it could stand up at all and i don’t think its funny! Its discrimination to an animal! I always watch my animals weight :( i hate seeing animals suffer like this. I’m never ever gonna let my mouse and guinea pig have a life like that!!! you should be ashamed!!!!
