Delay No More

Goldfinch Restaurant is one of the remaining memorable dinning places in Causeway Bay, Hong Kong. You don’t need to be a character in the movie “In the Mood of Love” or pay an arm and leg to taste the 1960s Hong Kong style roast beef. Very often both locals and tourists take photos inside the restaurant. The dim lighting and the mood there are indeed special and unique. Luckily this piece of property has not yet followed the footstep of old Star Ferry Pier and Queen’s Pier, which were demolished in the name of economic development. While the Hong Kong Government tries its best to remove some colonial memories, we have, on the other hand, private entities, such as Shanghai Tan and G.O.D, re-brand some of the popular and unique local stuff. G.O.D., which is only 3 minutes walk away from Goldfinch Restaurant in Causeway Bay, is selling a series of T-shirt with a phase in front – “DelayNoMore”. Can the Hong Kong Government get the message?
